Estate Practice Area
Our attorney's assist clients through proper Estate Planning for individuals and transition/successorship planning for businesses. We draft all manner of Wills and Trusts as well as other Estate Planning documentation for client's reflecting their wishes for the future. We also provide Probate services for past clients and others needing our assistance.
Litigation Practice Area
We practice in trial proceedings before both federal and state courts. In addition, our attorneys handle appeals for both our own clients and in post-trial practice for other counsel. Those attorneys involved in business and commercial litigation handle all types of matters, including business disputes, breach of contract, unfair competition, covenants not to compete, construction litigation matters, and federal and state employee-related discrimination claims. Our construction litigation practice encompasses individual claims to complex matters. We can provide mediation and alternative dispute resolution services through our certified mediators and trained arbitrators.
Real Estate Practice Area
We assist corporations or individuals with real estate transactions that range from large-scale commercial projects such as condominiums, subdivisions, multi-phased commercial developments, and shopping centers, to single home purchases. Our attorneys advise clients on contract negotiation and drafting, survey and title examinations, zoning, environmental permitting, analyses of regional impact studies, platting, the land use process and regulatory compliance, and preparation of closing documents. We can prepare primary loan documents and handle compliance with federal and state truth-in-lending acts and all secondary mortgage requirements. Our attorneys represent large commercial real estate landlords and have extensive experience in the drafting and negotiating of complex commercial leases, as well as simple residential leases. The firm's attorneys have been members and agents of Attorney's Title Insurance Fund (The Fund) for over thirty (30) years and also write title insurance and close residential and commercial purchases and sales on Old Republic. We routinely represent owners, developers, construction managers, sureties, architects, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors and material suppliers in all areas and phases of construction law.
